Jameer Nelson: Won't play Sunday

Nelson (wrist) has been officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Pacers, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

Nelson was considered questionable for the contest after reportedly suffering a left wrist sprain in Friday's game against the Heat, though he was able to finish that contest. He won't be available Sunday, however, with Emmanuel Mudiay taking his spot in the starting five and picking up extra minutes in Nelson's place. Nelson's next chance to return now comes Tuesday against the Thunder, but the team should further update his status before that time.
