Seraphin suffered a bruised rib in the second half of Saturday's game against the Grizzlies and won't return, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.

Analysis:

Seraphin was initially designated as probable to return, but the team ultimately decided to sit him out the remainder of the contest. X-rays on his ribs came back negative, however, so the hope is that Seraphin's injury won't cause him to miss an extended period of time.
