You win some, you lose some.
Shortly after news broke that Milwaukee Bucks backup point guard Greivis Vasquez is aiming for a January return following ankle surgery, another Bucks point guard, Jerryd Bayless, was forced to leave Monday night's blowout loss to the San Antonio Spurs after re-injuring his left ankle.
Bayless initially sprained the ankle on Dec. 4, and was subsequently sidelined for 11 games. The game against the Spurs was just his fifth since returning from the injury. He scored three points in seven minutes before being forced to the locker room.
The 27-year-old is having a solid campaign, averaging a career-high 12 points per night and ranking eighth in the league in 3-point percentage (43.6) coming into Monday's game.
