Dwyane Wade returns vs. Mavericks following flu-like symptoms
Miami Heat All-Star guard Dwyane Wade was originally slated to start Friday's home game against the Dallas Mavericks.
However, prior to tipoff, the 33-year-old veteran went back to the locker room with flu-like symptoms, with Tyler Johnson taking his place in the lineup.
Wade finally checked into the game with just over seven minutes remaining in the second quarter.
So officially, Dwyane Wade missed the first 16 minutes of 2016. This is one of those illuminati things, isn't it?

In the end, Wade played 19 tremendously efficient minutes, scoring 10 points on 5-of-6 shooting and dishing out seven assists as the Heat rolled to a 106-82 win.
This was his first time officially coming off the bench since Jan. 26, 2014 against the San Antonio Spurs.
Wade has missed only one game this season, on Nov. 12 against the Utah Jazz, when he spent the evening with his son at the hospital.
He's averaging 18.9 points and 4.5 assists on 46.1 percent shooting for the 19-13 Heat.
