Hornets' Lin will not play vs. Raptors

Jeremy Lin will miss his second straight game for the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night as the team sets to face the Toronto Raptors.

Lin is dealing with a right ankle sprain.

The Harvard alumnus is averaging 11.8 points, 3.2 assists, and 3.2 rebounds in 2015-16.

Brian Roberts should continue his role as the backup point guard in Lin's absence. The 30-year-old totaled four points, two assists, and two steals in 18 minutes in Wednesday night's loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

The loss of Lin will be felt in Toronto after the 27-year-old dropped a season-high 35 points the last time the two teams met.
