Sorry, Phoenix Suns fans.
A miserable 2015 calendar year ended exactly as 2014 did: with a narrow heart-breaker at the hands of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Russell Westbrook led the way with 36 points - including four key free throws in the game's dying seconds - and skied for a block on the last possession of the game to seal the 110-106 win for the Thunder.
Afterward, Westbrook taunted the Suns by flashing a thumbs down, which drew a heated response from Suns forward P.J. Tucker.
Despite a valiant effort to keep it close for most of the game, the bottom line is that the Suns have now lost 18 of their last 25 games.
