Heat's Winslow questionable vs. Mavericks on New Year's Day
Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports
Miami Heat rookie forward Justise Winslow is listed as questionable for Friday's matchup with the Dallas Mavericks after missing the last two games with a sprained left ankle.
Despite it sidelining him for the first time in his NBA career, the rookie said Monday the sprain isn't serious.
Winslow provides great defensive energy to the Heat's second unit, while struggling somewhat offensively. Through 29 games, the Houston native is shooting below 42 percent and averaging under six points per contest.
Reserve power forward Josh McRoberts also remains out for Miami with a knee injury.
