VIDEO: 'KO-BE' chants echo throughout the TD Garden
A Los Angeles Lakers player getting cheered at the home of the Boston Celtics? Hell, it seems, has officially frozen over.
There were special circumstances surrounding Wednesday's clash between the NBA's most storied rivals, with "The Black Mamba" Kobe Bryant suiting up for his last game at the TD Garden.
The 17-time All-Star received a mixed reaction when he was first introduced to the crowd, but by the end of the night, the sold-out crowd of 18,624 was eating out of Bryant's hand.
A clutch 3-pointer to give Los Angeles a five-point lead during the game's final minute was vintage Bryant, which Lakers and Celtics fans alike couldn't help but get giddy over.
Just listen:
"Honestly, if I could chant for them, I would," Bryant said about Boston's fans after the game, according to ESPN's Baxter Holmes. "I don't think they really understand how much they meant to my career."
