Blazers' Lillard, Davis will not play vs. Kings

Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

The Portland Trail Blazers will be without Damian Lillard and Ed Davis for their game against the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night, according to Casey Holdahl of trailblazers.com.

Lillard has already missed the last three contests for Portland with plantar fascitis, while Sunday will be the first game that Davis will miss because of an ankle injury.

The 25-year-old Lillard has been Portland's best offensive player this season, averaging 24.6 points, 6.8 assists, and shooting 36.4 percent from the three.

Davis has been quietly productive in 2015-16, as his 62.5 shooting percentage would rank him second in the league if he qualified. He is also averaging 6.9 points and 7.5 rebounds in just 21.8 minutes of action.

After beating the East-leading Cleveland Cavaliers last night, the Blazers attempt to sweep their back-to-back at Sleep Train Arena.
