Warriors lose Curry again, earn hard-fought OT win over Nuggets
The bad news for the Golden State Warriors is Stephen Curry only lasted 14 minutes Saturday against the Denver Nuggets. The good news, at least, is that they got a hard-fought 111-108 overtime victory.
Draymond Green had a season-high 29 points and 17 rebounds, while dishing out 14 assists for his second straight triple-double and sixth this season. With the win, the Dubs have now won 34 consecutive games at home.
Green's play picked up the slack from Curry's departure and a cooler-than-average shooting night by Klay Thompson (11-of-27 with 26 points). Yet the Warriors allowed the Nuggets back in the door late, with an 18-6 fourth quarter run by Denver forcing overtime. In total, the Warriors blew a 26-point lead but managed to win the game.

Curry, who returned from a two-game absence due to a left leg injury, apparently was hit in the same shin during the first half and was ruled out at halftime.
The Warriors have improved to 31-2 on the season, the best start in NBA history through the season’s first 33 games.

Danilo Gallinari returned to the Nuggets' lineup from a six-game absence due to an ankle injury, and led the way for Denver with 24 points. Jameer Nelson added 20.
