Los Angeles Clippers guard Austin Rivers left Saturday's game against the Houston Rockets after injuring his right ankle.
Rivers sustained the injury on a non-contact play in the fourth quarter. He immediately clutched his ankle and fell to the floor, writhing in pain.
He was eventually helped off the court by teammate Chris Paul and the team's athletic trainer and headed to the locker room.
Doc Rivers says initial fear was that Austin Rivers suffered an Achilles tear, but he didn't. Says he thinks has a 2nd or 3rd degree sprain.

The initial diagnosis of Rivers' injury revealed that it is a moderate sprain.
The fourth-year player is averaging 7.2 points and 1.3 assists in 22.3 minutes this season.
