Greg Monroe: Returns to starting lineup Friday

Monroe (knee) will return to action, and start in Golden State Friday, Rusty Simmons of The San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Analysis:

This is unexpected, yet welcomed, news for Monroe owners. He was originally expected to miss at least a few more games, but will give it a go in Golden State Friday. It remains to be seen if he will play his normal workload, but expect Milwaukee to be somewhat cautious with their star big man if his knee appears to be hampering his play.
