Pacers' Ellis questionable vs. Nets with sore right knee

Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports

Indiana Pacers shooting guard Monta Ellis has avoided missing time this season despite suffering minor injuries to both his back and shoulder.

That streak of good fortune may come to an end Friday, as the veteran's listed as questionable with a sore right knee when the team hosts the Brooklyn Nets.

It's been rare for Ellis to sit games in the past, missing just two outings over the past three seasons with the Dallas Mavericks and Milwaukee Bucks.

He's currently putting up his lowest scoring numbers since his rookie campaign, averaging 12.6 points on 42.6 percent shooting for the 15-9 Pacers.

Should he not suit up Friday, George Hill and Rodney Stuckey will be asked to produce more in Indiana's backcourt.
