Mavericks' Harris out; Jenkins questionable Friday vs. Grizzlies
The Dallas Mavericks' backcourt will be without at least one key cog Friday night, as combo guard Devin Harris will not play against the Memphis Grizzlies, according to Mavs.com's Earl K. Sneed.
The 32-year-old veteran - who is averaging 7.7 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists - sustained a hamstring injury during Wednesday's loss to the Indiana Pacers.
Additionally, shooting guard Jon Jenkins is questionable due to a concussion he suffered during practice.
The fourth-year man has averages of 4.1 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 0.5 assists in 10.3 minutes of work in the 10 games in which he's played this season.
The 14-12 Mavs will try to create further separation between themselves and the 14-13 Grizzlies, who sit one spot below the Texas-based franchise in the Western Conference standings.
