The San Antonio Spurs' Tim Duncan will sit out his second straight contest Wednesday with right knee soreness. San Antonio hosts the Phoenix Suns.

Duncan last played on Christmas Day, logging 32 minutes against the Houston Rockets. The 39-year-old has never had a significant injury or missed more than 16 games in a season.
Duncan is shooting 51.5 percent from the floor with nine points, eight rebounds, and 1.4 blocks in 26.6 minutes per game. He also leads the NBA in defensive real plus-minus (5.88).
