Grizzlies' Allen suffers pregame knee injury; Randolph benched

The Memphis Grizzlies took the floor with a different look in Miami on Sunday, as Matt Barnes and Courtney Lee replaced Zach Randolph and Tony Allen in the starting lineup.

Allen was a last-minute scratch after injuring his right knee during pregame warmups, while Randolph's benching may be tied to he and the team's up and down play.

Randolph, a 15-year veteran, has averaged 14.1 points and 8.9 rebounds this season for the Grizzlies, who entered Sunday fifth-place in the disappointing Western Conference at 13-11.

Allen, meanwhile, a four-time All-Defensive Team selection, has averaged a career-low 5.9 points and 3.6 rebounds on 40 percent shooting.

For what it's worth, the team's usual starting five of Allen, Randolph, Mike Conley, Jeff Green, and Marc Gasol has a deplorable net rating of minus-22.6 per 100 possessions - by far the worst mark of any NBA lineup that has logged at least 100 minutes together.

Having said that, the Conley-Lee-Barnes-Green-Gasol lineup that started Sunday's game has been even worse in limited action, posting a minus-41.4 net rating in 41 minutes together.
