Pelicans' Holiday out vs. Bulls

New Orleans Pelicans point guard Jrue Holiday will not play against the Chicago Bulls Saturday night, the team confirmed.

The 25-year-old floor general has been kept out of the back end of back-to-backs as part of the team's plan to allow him to continue his recovery from a a stress reaction in his right leg that cut his 2014-15 campaign to 40 games.

Holiday scored 19 points, dished out six assists and committed three thefts in Friday's win against the Washington Wizards.

In 17 contests this season, Holiday has averaged 11.8 points and 4.7 assists.
