Analysis:

Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry wasn't quite ready to put the veteran on the court after his long layoff, even with Ryan Anderson sidelined due to flu-like symptoms. Perkins should see his first game action since Halloween soon enough, but don't expect him to get many minutes when he does.
