Suns' Knight receives flop warning

Phoenix Suns combo guard Brandon Knight received a warning for violating the NBA's anti-flopping rule, the league announced Wednesday.

The incident occurred during the Suns' victory over the Chicago Bulls on Monday. Knight found himself switched onto Pau Gasol late in the fourth quarter and whipped his head back to sell contact. He didn't end up getting the call.

The incident can be seen here.

Knight won't be penalized for his first offense. A second offense will cost him $5,000, a third would cost $10,000, and fines will escalate until the sixth offense, which would then result in suspension.

This is the third flop warning issued by the league this season. Grizzlies' forwards Tony Allen and Matt Barnes have received one warning each.
