Hawks' Splitter misses loss to Raptors due to lingering hip injury
Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports
The Atlanta Hawks were without big man Tiago Splitter for the sixth consecutive game Wednesday when they fell to the Toronto Raptors, 96-86.
The veteran has been a limited participant in practice lately and is still not ready to return to game action as he deals with a sore right hip.
The Hawks' main offseason acquisition is averaging 5.6 points and 3.6 rebounds on a career-low 48.5 percent shooting in 17.3 minutes per game.
