Report: Nets gauging trade interest in Bogdanovic
Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports
The Brooklyn Nets have been gauging the trade value of swingman Bojan Bogdanovic, according to ESPN's Mike Mazzeo.
It's debatable as to what Bogdanovic would fetch on the market. The 26-year-old is averaging 8.4 points on 42.3 percent shooting this season, and is a 26 percent 3-point shooter. That's a dip from his rookie season last year.
The Nets, who sit at 4-13 going into Tuesday, are continuing their attempts to pare salary from their roster. Outside of Deron Williams' stretch provision - which will pay the now-Dallas Mavericks point guard until 2021 - the Nets have four players left making over $5 million per season. Joe Johnson's salary comes off the books next summer.
Bogdanovic is owed about $7 million over this season and next.
