Zach Randolph: Doesn't play Tuesday despite active ruling

Despite being ruled active for Tuesday's game against the Mavericks, Randolph (knee) didn't come off the bench in the Grizzlies' 110-96 victory.

Analysis:

Because Jarell Martin (foot) and Jordan Adams (knee) were already occupying the inactive spots for Tuesday's game, Randolph and Brandan Wright (knee) were listed as active for the contest, though neither player was truly considered available to play. As a result, Randolph ceded most of minutes at power forward to the trio of Jeff Green, Matt Barnes, and JaMychal Green, who combined to produce 46 points between them. Randolph has sat out the Grizzlies' last three games, and at this point, looks unlikely to play Wednesday in Houston barring a dramatic turnaround in his condition.
