Monday's head-to-head between Central Division foes came down to the wire.
As Indiana Pacers star Paul George rose for the jump shot with the game on the line, the Chicago Bulls' own star, Jimmy Butler, accompanied his check into the air.
Butler managed to block George's shot, preserving the 96-95 victory - sans Derrick Rose - for the home team.
Here's an additional, more dramatic angle of the impressive defensive play.
Bulls forward Taj Gibson applauded Butler's heroic effort after the back-and-forth contest.
