Kennedy was traded to Memphis, from Cleveland, back in July for Jeremy Pargo, a second-round pick and cash. The 22-year-old guard played in just two NBA games last season, but averaged 10.4 points and 5.6 rebounds in 28.7 minutes as a senior at St. John's University in 2010-11.
