VIDEO: Gasol denies Okafor's drive and spin attempt

Philadelphia 76ers rookie big man Jahlil Okafor tried to get fancy Monday night against the Chicago Bulls, spinning into the lane to attempt a right-handed layup off the glass.

The only problem was that veteran Pau Gasol had him defended every step of the way, swatting his attempt out of bounds before the Duke alumnus could even get it off.

Gasol, 35, has seen it all over his Hall of Fame-worthy 15-year career. Averaging 1.7 blocks in 990 regular-season outings, the 7-foot Spaniard always has an answer for ball-handlers who want to show him up in the paint.

Okafor will think twice before testing Gasol in the future.
