Grizzlies' Randolph, Wright questionable Monday vs. Clippers

Thomas J. Russo-USA TODAY Sports

The Memphis Grizzlies aren't off to a great start this season, and Monday's matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers could pose further problems. Big men Zach Randolph and Brandan Wright are both listed as questionable for the contest.

Starting power forward Randolph is fighting a sore right calf, while backup Wright left Saturday's loss to the Utah Jazz with a right knee injury. As the Grizzlies have struggled both offensively and defensively this season, Randolph has dropped to averages of 12.6 points and 8.9 rebounds per game, notably down from his production the past three seasons.

Wright was brought in over the summer as a more athletic replacement to backup big man Kosta Koufos. He's averaged 6.6 points in 17.1 minutes per game. The Grizzlies sit at 3-4 going into Los Angeles, with the Golden State Warriors waiting Wednesday.

Guard Jordan Adams remains out with knee soreness, as well. The Grizzlies' first-round pick in 2014 has only played in two games this season.
