VIDEO: Nets' Jack bowls over Celtics' Jerebko
Jarrett Jack made use of his pent-up offseason energy Wednesday.
Unfortunately for him, it resulted in an ill-advised flagrant foul and subsequent ejection from the Brooklyn Nets' preseason game against the Boston Celtics.
In the opening minutes of the second quarter, Celtics forward Jared Sullinger stripped the ball from Jack, leading to a Boston fastbreak.
As Jonas Jerebko gathered for the layup, Jack shoulder-checked the Swedish big man, causing a collision that sent both players to the floor.
Jack was tossed from the game, marking the first ejection of his 10-year NBA career.
Jerebko later commented on the incident:
Jerebko on Jack's flagrant: "My back is a little sore. It was frustration from him. I have no idea. I'm just trying to play basketball."

Without Jack, the Nets fell 109-105 to the Celtics.
