Tony Allen: Mike Conley will be better because he 'stopped listening to Usher'
Fans may see a different Mike Conley this season.
After dealing with a plethora of injuries last season - six, to be exact - the Memphis Grizzlies point guard has packed on the pounds this summer to help ward off the same fate.
But that's not the only change Conley's made. According to teammate Tony Allen, the point guard also has some fire from his new pregame music.
Bye-bye to sweet, soulful Usher. Hello, Tupac and Future - it's lit.
"He stopped listening to Usher and he's listening to Tupac, Future," Allen told the Commercial Appeal's Ronald Tillery.
"He's turnt up now, so his whole preparation before the game is seek and destroy now," Allen added. "I like that ambition about him."
"Dirty Sprite 2" and "All Eyez on Me" will do that.
