The Philadelphia 76ers will honor Moses Malone, Darryl Dawkins, and Harvey Pollack at the first home game of the 2015-16 regular season, the team announced Wednesday.

The team will pay tribute to the three Sixers legends during its game against the Utah Jazz on Oct. 30.

The 76ers will also dedicate specific games to Malone, Dawkins, and Pollack individually later in the season.

Malone - who died in mid-September - played in Philadelphia for five seasons (1982-86 and 1993-94).

He was named Finals MVP for his work in the 1983 champion series in which his Sixers swept the Los Angeles Lakers. Malone averaged 25.8 points, 18 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks in the four-game rout.

Dawkins - also known as "Chocolate Thunder" - suited up for the Sixers over the course of seven seasons (1975-82).

Despite his warm off-court demeanor, Dawkins was not as kind to basketball rims throughout his career.

The 15-year NBA veteran died in August. He was 58.

Pollack was the NBA's longest-tenured employee, having worked for the league from its inaugural season in 1946-47 until his death in June.

He was responsible for coining the term "triple-double," and was a pioneer in statistical tracking, including 48-minute stat projections and plus-minus.

Pollack was also the one who wrote the now-iconic "100" sign that celebrated Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point game in 1962, a record that still stands.
