Williams' tumultuous time with the Nets came to an end this offseason, as he was bought out in July and subsequently signed by the Mavericks. The veteran has certainly lost a step since his days as a perennial All-Star with the Jazz, but at 31 years old, he'll look to prove he still has something left in the tank. "Starting fresh" was the theme of Williams' conversation at Monday's media day, and he'll certainly have the opportunity to start anew with the rebuilt Mavericks. Williams will open the season as the starting point guard and figures to see big minutes after averaging 13.0 points and 6.6 assists in 31.1 minutes per game for Brooklyn in 2014-15.
