Curry and Colbert battle in sock-shooting contest for 'Stephen' Google SEO
If you begin typing the name "Stephen" into Google, the auto-fill function will show you the suggestion "Curry" before "Colbert." That doesn't sit well with the host of "The Late Show," who wanted Steph Curry to put his search engine optimization on the line Monday night.
And while Colbert isn't skilled enough to challenge the reigning MVP to a 3-point shootout, he was able to hearken back to his college days - pile of dirty laundry on the floor, scramble to ball up socks and fire them into the hamper before your parents show up with a care package of ramen.
The sock-shooting skills appear to age well, as Colbert gave the Golden State Warriors star quite a run.
Someone should alert Google now that Colbert has the right to a higher Google result, Stephen Hawking be damned.
