VIDEO: Jerome Randle drops circus shot for Ukraine

Jerome Miron-US PRESSWIRE

If the name Jerome Randle doesn't sound that Ukrainian to you, it's because the Chicago-born former Cal standout – who played in the NBA preseason with the Dallas Mavericks in 2011 – has taken up citizenship in the eastern European nation.

The 5-foot-9 guard is now playing for the national team at Eurobasket and on Saturday he showed off a nifty move against Lithuania, penetrating the lane and finishing with a circus layup.

Unfortunately for Ukraine, they lost a tight one, 69-68. Jonas Valanciunas of the Toronto Raptors led the way for Lithuania with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
