PHOTO: John Wall buys $20,000 portrait of himself

Washington Wizards point guard John Wall threw an extravagant birthday party for himself on Thursday night.

Wall turns 25 on Sunday, and to commemorate the occasion he commissioned famous street artist Madsteez to paint his portrait. Wall paid $20,000 for the painting, TMZ Sports reports.

After posting his second straight All-Star campaign last season, Wall has plenty of reasons to celebrate. The soon-to-be 25-year-old is one of the best guards in the Eastern Conference and averaged a career-high 10 assists per game last season.
