Heat owner Arison canvassing fan interest in 'Miami Vice' jerseys

The Miami Heat could be getting a lot more colorful in a future season.

Owner Micky Arison canvassed fan interest in a potential "Miami Vice"-themed jersey Wednesday on Instagram. While Arison didn't name the show, the jerseys were photoshopped by a Heat fan account that makes their inspiration pretty clear.

The uniform would be unique, to say the least, with the Charlotte Hornets alternate standing as the closest color palette.

Arison's Instagram post, sent out to 68,400 followers, has 4,012 likes and 3,996 comments so far. A quick scan of the most recent comments indicates that fans, at least those responding, are in favor of trying it out.
