The Canadian team didn't offer an update following their 85-80 win, so it's possible Olynyk sat out as a precautionary measure.
Andrew Wiggins scored 18 points for Canada, which is playing in the Tuto Marchand Continental Cup in Puerto Rico, a warmup for the FIBA Americas tournament.
Olynyk will be in tough to earn minutes in Boston this season, where he'll compete with fellow Celtics bigs Tyler Zeller, David Lee, Amir Johnson, Jared Sullinger, and Jordan Mickey.
