Report: Ronny Turiaf hopes to continue NBA career next season

After having his 2014-15 campaign cut short due to injury, Ronny Turiaf is hoping to pick up where he left off.
The 32-year-old free agent reportedly said Sunday that he intends to return to the NBA for his 11th season.
"One of my dreams while I was a child was to live in (the) USA. It is 10 years since I am in the NBA. Why not continue here?" he told French publication L'Equipe, according to Sportando.
Turiaf started last season as a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves. He was ruled out for the remainder of the campaign in December after undergoing season-ending hip surgery. He played in just two games and logged 19 minutes on the season. Turiaf was then acquired and quickly waived by the Philadelphia 76ers.
Turiaf had established staying power in the league based on a style of play characterized by high energy and a relentless desire to do the dirty work when on the floor.
Before the days of Kent Bazemore and Robert Sacre bench celebrations, Turiaf, a pioneer of the trade, earned notoriety for his eye-catching sideline reactions.
Throughout his 10-year career, Turiaf has played for seven teams, averaging 4.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.3 blocks.
