Nineteen years after making his NBA debut, and over a year removed since he last stepped foot on an NBA court, Ray Allen's name still carries weight in Association circles.

On Monday, the NBA's all-time leader in made threes - who has yet to officially retire, by the way - celebrated his 40th birthday, Vegas style.

To honor his four decades on earth and near-two decades in the NBA, Allen was given a cake commemorating his time with the University of Connecticut, the Milwaukee Bucks, Seattle SuperSonics, Boston Celtics, and Miami Heat.

The last 24 hours has been truly incredible. The turn up is real. I just got surprised left and right all day. It's my birthday and we are gettin it in Vegas style. Thanks to my beautiful wife and all my great friends for settin it off. Oh and the cake!! #Vegas #34turns40
