PHOTO: Clippers unveil new court design
With some solid player additions, and keeping one of their own in an all-time great NBA caper, the Los Angeles Clippers have had themselves a nice summer so far.
Except for those new uniforms.
Roundly derided or not, we know enough about professional sports by now to know the new gear is here to stay. Sure, a vast majority of people may not love it at first, but like any minor annoyance, they learn to live with it.
Hence, behold the Clippers' new floor design:

The "Clipper Nation" sideline scrawl is a new one, and just the latest franchise to employ the "nation" title in a marketing manner since fans of the Oakland Raiders coined the term in the early 1980s.
