VIDEO: WWE star John Cena issues challenge to LeBron James
Andrew Weber-US PRESSWIRE
WWE superstar John Cena, like LeBron James, has a role in the new comedy film "Trainwreck," and he's using his media availability to call out the best basketball player in the world.
Cena even suggests James will step in the ring with him at Sunday night's WWE Battleground in St. Louis, threatening to "dribble his face on the canvas like as if it was a Spalding basketball."
Clearly, the Cleveland Cavaliers' insurance people might have a problem with this, especially considering Cena adds he is "going to rip the spine off" James' back.
All in good fun, though. Cena concludes with a straight face that the WWE championship belt (awarded to scripted performers) is superior to the Larry O'Brien Trophy, before praising his own ball handling.
