Kerr trolls Popovich: 'If Pop can't win with that roster, he has no business coaching in this league'

Steve Kerr's admiration for former boss Gregg Popovich is apparently matched only by his love for snark, and the reigning NBA championship coach was in fine form during a Summer League appearance on NBA TV.

"You look at what San Antonio did getting (LaMarcus) Aldridge," Kerr said of the Spurs' sensational offseason, in which they also added David West while re-signing Kawhi Leonard, Tim Duncan, and Danny Green.

"I mean if they don't win the whole thing next year it's clearly the coach's fault," Kerr joked. "If Pop can't win the whole thing with that roster then he has no business coaching in this league."

Kerr played four seasons for Popovich in the late 1990s and early 2000s, winning two titles with Pop's Spurs in 1999 and 2003.
