Center Tibor Pleiss, who was selected 31st overall by the New Jersey Nets in the 2010 NBA Draft, has seen his rights travel more than a Corey Brewer breakaway jam.

The Nets, Atlanta Hawks, and Oklahoma City Thunder have all had Pleiss' rights at some point or another. The Thunder packaged them in a three-team trade with the Utah Jazz earlier in the year to acquire Enes Kanter.

The Jazz are now close to finalizing a three-year, $10-million deal with the 7-foot-2 German big, reports Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.

Oklahoma City was reportedly interested in bringing the 25-year-old back from overseas as he competed in the Spanish ACB League, although that didn't pan out because his buyout was too expensive.

Pleiss, who's also a member of Germany's senior men's basketball team, averaged 6.3 points and 4.2 rebounds this past season with FC Barcelona.

No one's dethroning Rudy Gobert as Utah's starting center anytime soon. However, Pleiss should be able to earn himself a reasonable amount of playing time as Gobert's primary backup. He's an outstanding passer at his size, and more than capable of knocking down his freebies at the charity stripe as a career 81.1-percent free-throw shooter.
