ATLANTA - Atlanta Hawks guard Kyle Korver underwent surgery for the second time in five weeks, this time to remove loose bodies from his right elbow.
The procedure was performed Tuesday at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. Korver is expected to be fully recovered from the surgery prior to the start of training camp, the Hawks said.
The sharpshooter is still recovering from surgery last month to repair ligament damage in his right ankle. He suffered a high ankle sprain in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals and missed the rest of the series against Cleveland.
Korver is expected to be sidelined for around three months because of the ankle surgery.
