Minnesota Timberwolves president and head coach Flip Saunders told ESPN Radio Sunday that Serbian forward Nemanja Bjelica will be on the team's roster next season.
"We will bring him over," Saunders said.
Reports surfaced Saturday that the Timberwolves were negotiating a three-year deal with Bjelica, a 6-foot-10 forward who won the Euroleague MVP award this season with Turkish club Fenerbahce Ulker. He was selected in the second round of the 2010 NBA Draft by the Washington Wizards.
The 27-year-old averaged 12.1 points, 8.5 rebounds and just under two assists per game this past season. He's also been a mainstay on the Serbian national team.
