VIDEO: Curry's mother approves of his shot selection
Stephen Curry finally had the efficient all-around performance that had been eluding him throughout the NBA Finals.
En route to a strong Game 5 stat line (37 points, seven rebounds, and four assists), Curry sunk a 29-foot, 3-point shot. It effectively snuffed out the Cleveland Cavaliers' chances of stealing a win on the road.
Such a deep shot attempt would frustrate most coaches. However, Curry has proven himself to be more than capable of making clutch shots from just about anywhere on the court.
One of his staunchest supporters, and Oracle Arena regular - Sonya Curry - was more than pleased with her son's brilliant trey.
With the Golden State Warriors leading the series 3-2, the Cavs are now against the ropes heading back to Cleveland for Game 6.
