Hawks trademark new image, could be next logo

The Atlanta Hawks could be taking the flame emoji to new heights next season.
Atlanta Hawks, L.P. has filed a trademark for a new image of a flaming basketball with wings. According to a report by SportsLogos.net's Chris Creamer, this image could be the Hawks new logo.

The team has not officially announced that this new image will be used, but the logo in a lime green and black color is included in Paul Lukas of Uni Watch's post displaying the leaked NBA Christmas jerseys for next season.
