Mark Cuban and Daryl Morey make nice after Rockets' Game 7 win
Make buckets, not war.
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey have been locked in a seemingly never-ending public war of words that gives us our much-needed dose of league drama. In April, Cuban said in an interview that Houston was "not a very good team."
That "not very good team" would go on to eliminate Dallas 4-1 from the first round of the playoffs.
However, after the Rockets shook off the seemingly-inevitable long summer awaiting them by defeating the Los Angeles Clippers Game 7 to advance to the Western Conference Finals, Cuban took to social media to admit he was wrong about his rival team. Morey graciously acknowledged his congratulations, mentioning the owner's championship ring.
@mcuban thank you Mark, as you know we have a long way to go because you have done it

Here are some of last year's highlights from the feud:
- Cuban said he wanted to "kick his (Morey) ass" in free agency
- Cuban claimed the Mavs prying restricted free agent Chandler Parsons away from the Rockets last summer was not to "stick it" Houston
- Though not Morey himself, the Rockets' Twitter account fired off a rather brutal jab at the Mavs during Game 5, with a gun emoji next to a horse head emoji
