Curry hit more 3s than the Grizzlies in 2nd-round series
It's a 3-point shooting league - don't tell Phil Jackson - and Steph Curry is ridiculous.
After the Golden State Warriors eliminated the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night, thanks to Curry's eight triples, double the amount the Grizzlies hit in Game 6, the numbers were tallied, and they're something:
3s in the series:
Curry: 26
Grizzlies: 25
3s since April 1:
Curry: 81
Grizzlies: 75

Here's a breakdown by game:
Game | Curry 3s | Grizzlies 3s |
---|---|---|
1 | 4 | 3 |
2 | 2 | 5 |
3 | 2 | 5 |
4 | 4 | 4 |
5 | 6 | 4 |
6 | 8 | 4 |
Yeah, Curry had as many or more threes than the Grizzlies in four of six games. He's been making history from deep throughout the first two rounds of the playoffs:
Stephen Curry set NBA records for 3s in a 4-game series with 20 vs. New Orleans & for 3s in a 6-game series with 26 vs. Memphis

Curry's eight 3-pointers Friday night were his playoff career-high, and he tied Splash Brother Klay Thompson for the franchise playoff record.
That's why Steph's the MVP.
