VIDEO: Clippers owner Ballmer loving Lob City display
Steve Ballmer spent a great deal of money to purchase the Los Angeles Clippers, and his early return on investment is simply a lot of fun.
To wit, the Clippers were out running and dunking during Game 5 on Tuesday, and Ballmer was loving every minute of it. First, there was Blake Griffin getting out in transition and throwing down a vicious first-quarter hammer against the San Antonio Spurs:
Not long after, Chris Paul hit DeAndre Jordan with a perfect alley-oop pass, forcing Ballmer to rub his head and shout in amazement:
Things were going swimmingly early, but the Clippers quickly saw a 27-13 lead disappear in the second quarter, making the game just as tight in the second as it has been all throughout the opening round's best series.
While it's unclear whether Ballmer and the Clippers will ultimately bring Lobtropolis to its full potential - Kawhi Leonard makes for a great Daredevil to Ballmer's Wilson Fisk in this series - Ballmer certainly seems to be enjoying his considerable investment for the time being.
