LeBron: 'I think about every (postseason) loss I've ever had'

David Richard-USA TODAY Sports

LeBron James never forgets. And he's been reflecting on the eve of his 2015 postseason debut.

The King spoke about his playoff experiences after practice Saturday, last year's NBA Finals loss as a member of the Miami Heat to the San Antonio Spurs still fresh on his mind.

I'm 22-7 in the postseason. So I think about every loss I've ever had, every series loss I've ever had, and all those experiences helped me get to this point. So it's definitely a different challenge for me. I'm going in with a much younger team, with a much (more) inexperienced team than I've had the last four years, but I look forward to the challenge.

The Boston Celtics will be looking to beat James for the third time in a best-of-seven series. They beat the Cavaliers in the 2008 and 2010 Eastern Conference semifinals. While this Celtics team is much different than those squads, James seems like a man who doesn't care who he's playing.

"I got the same feelings," James said when asked about how he's approaching an up-and-coming, young Celtics squad, with veterans Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo long gone.

James is taking nothing for granted.

I worry about each game, each day. There's so many emotions that goes on in the NBA playoffs that you can't get too high or get too low on it and you can't put a countdown or a number on it. You go to each day and get the most out of it. Win, lose or draw, you get the most out of each day, and if you get the most out of each day, I can be happy at the end of it.
