Byron Scott says Kobe Bryant's rehab is progressing

The Black Mamba is working on a comeback.

Kobe Bryant has been rehabbing the torn rotator cuff he suffered in January that has kept him out of action ever since.

Los Angeles Lakers coach Byron Scott updated the media on Bryant's rehab on Thursday, saying that he is just starting to lift weights, but Scott wants him to take it easy.

"I don't want him to overdo it," explained Scott. "I know his mindset when he gets ready for training camp, he wants to go all out."

Bryant is currently slotted at shooting guard, but, depending on his offseason recovery, small forward could be the easiest position for the injured star, said Scott.
